Islamic Family Law Study Program Sharia Faculty Holds Learning Evaluation Workshop at Utama Raya Resort, Situbondo

On Wednesday and Thursday, January 26-27, 2023, the Sharia Faculty organized a Workshop on Learning Evaluation Standards. Unlike usual, this workshop was not held on campus but at a beachside resort. The Utama Raya Resort in Situbondo was chosen for its fresh ambiance, offering a new environment for the academic staff of UIN Maliki Malang’s Sharia Faculty.

This routine activity, aimed at enhancing academic quality within the Sharia Faculty, started at 1:00 PM and was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Sudirman, M.A. The two-day event featured two experts in learning evaluation and professional performance: Dr. H. Muslihati, M.Pd. and Dr. Iwan BD., S.E., MNLP., CEHt., CHRBP.

“This workshop is a follow-up to suggestions made during last year’s learning evaluation meeting. At that time, there was a proposal to conduct training on learning evaluation. Additionally, this event is part of our efforts to develop superior programs within the Sharia Faculty,” Dr. Sudirman said in his opening speech.

The first day of the workshop concluded at 9:00 PM. Participants were highly engaged due to the unique format of the event, which emphasized motivation and personal capacity building. The speakers also awarded participants who actively engaged in the interactive activities. Besides the core workshop on learning evaluation, the program included training on self-performance enhancement, attitude improvement, and a refreshing agenda at the Utama Raya Resort. On the second day, participants had the opportunity to enjoy water attractions available at the resort.
