The Faculty of Sharia at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is one of the best higher education institutions in Indonesia, and it aspires to be ranked second in the world.
Alhamdulillah, I am very pleased to be part of the HKI alumni at UIN Maliki Malang. There were times during my studies when I felt I was in the wrong department. However, I am grateful that I continued and completed the program, and I am now beginning to see the benefits. I once felt hopeless about my major because finding a job seemed difficult. In 2017, I first took the CPNS exam but was not successful. I kept applying for CPNS every time there was an opportunity, taking the test four times without passing. Alhamdulillah, in 2022, the Ministry of Religious Affairs opened the PPPK recruitment for Islamic Counselors. I took the test for this position, as I had been a contract Islamic Counselor at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Malang Regency, assigned to KUA Singosari, since 2019. Additionally, I have been part-time teaching at a private MTs in Singosari since January 2015. Alhamdulillah, in 2023, I passed the PPPK exam for Malang Regency in this position. Thank you to the university and my lecturers who guided and advised me during my studies at Ulul Albab campus. I hope the HKI program at UIN Maliki Malang continues to advance and thrive.
Faculty of Sharia: Excellence, Professionalism, and International Reputation
I am personally happy and do not regret choosing the Islamic Family Law (HKI) program. When I was an undergraduate, I aspired to become a penghulu (Islamic marriage registrar), and thankfully, that aspiration has been fulfilled. Through the HKI program, I gained knowledge about Islamic law, which I now apply in my profession as a penghulu. Best wishes for continued success.
