Following Up on MoU, Islamic Family Law Study Program Faculty of Sharia Visits Youngsan University

As part of its efforts to realize the vision of the Faculty of Sharia at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, the Faculty leadership conducted a working visit to the Faculty of Law at Youngsan University in Busan, South Korea. Dr. Sudirman, M.A., Dr. Erfaniah Zuhriah, along with two young lecturers, made this important journey on March 9, 2023.

This visit was a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and Youngsan University, South Korea. The Dean and Vice Dean for General Administration, Planning, and Finance were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and four law professors.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding student mobility, visiting professorships, research collaboration and international publications, as well as cooperation in organizing international conferences. These four concrete activities are detailed in the agenda agreed upon in the previous MoU. “This visit is part of the efforts to realize the sustainable international academic collaboration between UIN Maliki, especially the Faculty of Sharia, and the Faculty of Law at Youngsan University. Such a good partnership should always be nurtured so that both parties can experience long-term academic benefits,” said the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia at UIN Maliki.
